Omar Field Operations Building is a compact, single-storey facility designed to support administrative and technical activities within a remote oil and gas field. The architecture is intentionally simple and robust: a long rectangular block with a clean horizontal cornice, rendered in light sand-colored tones that reduce heat gain and visually blend with the surrounding landscape. A continuous band of recessed windows ensures controlled natural daylight for offices and control rooms while maintaining high wall integrity for security and thermal performance.
The interior is organized on a clear central corridor, with workspaces, meeting rooms, and support areas arranged for efficient circulation and easy supervision. Finishes and details are selected for durability and low maintenance under dusty, high-temperature conditions. Roof-mounted air-handling units and insulated ductwork provide reliable, field-grade HVAC to ensure stable indoor comfort for staff working long shifts. The building sits on a raised platform with simple perimeter grading to manage occasional stormwater and to keep sand away from entrances and equipment.
Housari Corp coordinated the architectural, structural, and MEP design to meet oil-and-gas operator standards, focusing on constructability, rapid deployment, and long-term operational reliability in a demanding environment.
