North Middle Area Gas Exploitation Project is a remote desert gas facility designed to receive, treat, and export production from multiple wells under harsh environmental conditions. The plant is organized around modular process skids, including separation, filtration, pressure control, and metering units, connected by elevated pipe racks that keep critical lines accessible and protected from drifting sand. A tall vent/flare stack provides safe disposal of emergency releases, designed in accordance with international process safety standards and equipped with platforms and access ladders for maintenance.
Concrete foundations, steel structures, and above-ground piping are engineered to withstand thermal cycling, wind loads, and sand abrasion while minimizing long-term corrosion through coatings and cathodic protection. Layout planning ensures safe separation distances between process areas, utilities, and control zones, with clear escape routes and vehicle access for firefighting equipment. Instrumentation and automation integrate the facility into the wider gathering network, enabling remote monitoring, shutdowns, and performance optimization.
Housari Corp provided multidisciplinary engineering and project coordination, aligning civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and control systems with operator specifications and international codes, while addressing constructability, modularization, and phased commissioning in a challenging desert environment.
